Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi met in Samir Karnik’s 2004 film Kyun! Ho Gaya Na. The film was important to Aishwarya personally and professionally. She wanted this lively love tale to save her career after her last two films, Kuch Naa Kaho and Dil Ka Rishta, bombed at the box office. She dissolved her highly publicized relationship with Salman Khan a few years after their affair began during the making of the 1999 Sanjaj Leela Bhansali film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which was a turbulent time in her life.
Aishwarya and Vivek started dating after meeting on Kyun! Ho Gaya Na. Movie icon Amitabh Bachchan will later become Aishwarya’s father-in-law.
