Kriti was interviewed on how she handled criticism when Adipurush failed to generate interest. She replied, “You feel a deep sadness and might even find yourself in tears, wondering what went wrong”.
She continued, “Every project has a positive intention and never hurts anyone. However, we must accept that sometimes things don’t work and learn from them.”
Kriti said that actors can only “put in the effort, and concentrate on the next project” and not lose concentration. She acknowledges that many factors are beyond of her control but attempts to do her job well.
She appreciates constructive criticism and can distinguish between “genuine feedback and comments driven by others’ frustration”.
She said her family provides her honest comments after watching her films and that constructive criticism is helpful. She doesn’t let it affect her seriously. Crew and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Kriti’s last films, were hits.
Om Raut’s high-budget Ramayana, a spectacular rendition of the Ramayana epic, bombed at the box office. The film’s poor VFX, visuals, dialogues, and plot disappointed audiences expecting the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon blockbuster. Despite tweaking the dialogue following Adipurush’s release, the film was heavily trolled.
