Mithun Chakraborty married Yogita Bali after four months with Helena Luke. Helena has been out of the spotlight since starring in ‘Mard’ with Amitabh Bachchan. She stayed in America. Helena died, and her friend Kalapana Iyer announced it on social media.
She died mysteriously, but her last social media post read, “Feeling weird. Discombobulated, confused emotions.”
Helena told Stardust years ago that she and Mithun were married for four months. She said, “My four-month marriage is a dream. Wish it hadn’t happened. He deceived me into thinking he was my man. He succeeded, unfortunately.”
She added that marrying him was a nightmare and she is glad she is done. Helena never mentioned it again. She said, “I left him and requested a divorce. My plans remain unchanged despite his fame. Even if he’s rich, I’ll never return. I haven’t requested alimony. My nightmare is over. Mithun should stop talking about me. I hate how Mithun uses his women as publicity props by talking about them. This is my last comment on him. Our divorce will be final in a few months, and he can do whatever he wants.”
Helena also appeared in ‘Ek Naya Rishta’, ‘Mere Saath Chal’, and ‘Do Gulaab’.
