KL Rahul recently posted a touching Instagram tribute to wife Athiya Shetty. The Indian cricketer released photos on the actor’s 32nd birthday. In the first wedding photo, Athiya wears a traditional saree with a pink blouse and jewelry as Rahul embraces her. The actor smiles silly with henna-covered hands as her husband smiles. The second photo shows the couple eating noodles while looking at the camera. Athiya kisses Rahul and takes a selfie in the third slide. In the final image, the actor makes a funny face at the camera. The Indian cricketer captioned his post, “My craziee birthday baby (heart, kiss and infinity emojis).”
The romantic post prompted Athiya to write, “Love you (heart and kiss emojis).” Rahul’s father-in-law and actor Suniel Shetty responded with a heart and evil-eye emoji.

A mutual friend introduced the cricketer and actor in January 2019, and they instantly clicked. Their relationship has grown since then. However, Rahul and Athiya have kept their romance private. Online reports of their foreign vacations were common. Together, the couple endorsed luxury eyewear in 2021. Rahul announced their relationship by wishing Athiya a happy 29th birthday that year. They attended the 2021 Tadap screening together. Athiya and Rahul married at Suniel Shetty’s Khandala farmhouse on January 23, 2023, in a small ceremony with family and friends.
