Virat Kohli is in Barbados but is video calling his wife Anushka Sharma with updates.
Is there anything cuter than ‘men in love’? Barbados social media has posted a new Virat Kohli video. Hurricane Beryl has trapped him and the Indian cricket team in the Caribbean. In the video, Virat appears to be video calling someone to show them hurricane dread. Fans thought it was his wife, actress Anushka Sharma, on the other end of the line.
In his brown shirt and comfortable white pants, Virat panned the phone camera to the storming ocean from his hotel balcony. He runs for a better look.
Couple fans enjoyed his eagerness to show Anushka everything. “A man being man to his wife and children,” wrote someone. “He updates Anushka,” said another. “What a girl wants more than this,” a fan wrote. “Mnn hi nhi lagta uske bina king ka (Our king cannot be without Anushka),” a fan said.
Note from Virat to Anushka
India was in Barbados for the final T20 World Cup match on Saturday and is still there owing to the hurricane. Virat retired from cricket after India won the World Cup after 13 years. Virat thanked Anushka on Instagram for her years of support after his announcement.
“My love, none of this would be possible without you. You humble me and tell it straight. I’m really glad for you. You and I share this victory. I love you @anushkasharma for being you, he wrote. Virat’s passion and Team India’s success were also posted by Anushka.
Hurricane Beryl
After killing at least five people and wreaking havoc in the southeastern Caribbean, Category 5 Hurricane Beryl headed near Jamaica Tuesday.
The US National Hurricane Center (NHC) warned that the “near-major” hurricane will hit Jamaica on Wednesday with life-threatening gusts, storm surge, rain, and flash flooding. It is likely to decrease later Tuesday.
Officials said Category 4 storm Beryl killed at least three people in Grenada, one in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and one in Venezuela.
