In the opening credits of Farrey, the debut feature of Alizeh Agnihotri, Karan Johar is acknowledged as a beneficiary of special thanks. Through further investigation, I was able to ascertain that Karan was involved in the process of putting together the project, despite the fact that he was not directly involved in its creation.
Given the following reasons, Karan Johar has been given credit in Farrey
According to Atul Agnihotri, the father of Alizeh, who is also a co-producer of the film, “When we decided to remake the Thai film Bad Genius, we were looking for someone to direct Farrey.” By way of Karan, we were introduced to Soumendra Padhi.
Padhi had previously directed the highly acclaimed film Budhia Singh: Born to Run, which starred Manoj Bajpai and was about the child prodigy Budhia Singh, who ran 48 marathons at the tender age of five. He went on to achieve unprecedented levels of success when he ran a distance of 65 kilometres from Puri to Bhubaneshwar in a span of seven hours and two minutes on his own!
