Ranbir Kapoor to kick off Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana in March 2024: Report

In March of 2024, Ranbir Kapoor is scheduled to make his debut in Nitesh Tiwari’s next film, Ramayana.

An anonymous insider was quoted as saying, “The cast and crew were recently informed that March 2 is the big day,” as stated in a report that was published in Mid-Day. The itinerary that Nitesh sir has planned up for Film City is quite extensive. The portions that are primarily composed of speech will be shot by Ranbir and Sai throughout the first portion of the journey. During the months of April and May, the major crowd sequences, which will also include some conflict scenes, will be shot. To complete these scenes before the monsoons arrive in the city is the goal of this project.

Extensive collaboration has taken place between director Nitesh Tiwari and visual effects giant DNEG, who have spent months working together to create the legendary universe for their impending epic. During the pre-production phase, the cast participated in 3D mapping workshops and complex look tests. For the purpose of conducting essential technical rehearsals at the DNEG headquarters, Ranbir Kapoor will travel to Los Angeles in the month of February. “During the first few weeks of the shoot, the producers will also be flying down expert technicians from Los Angeles to assist them in becoming familiar with the process,” the source continued.

By the second half of the year 2025, the producers intend to finally release Ramayana.
