Ananya Panday has been referencing her web series Call Me Bae in her posts for days.
Call Me Bae will be Ananya Panday’s first long-form web-series. Last week, the actress posted a snapshot of herself with her lavender pink sipper and the motto “Espresso, not Depresso” on social media, hinting at this future concert. A few of days later, the actress posted another ‘Bae’ reference shot on Friendship Day.
Ananya Panday posted a “Bae” mug on her Instagram story on Sunday, August 4. Ananya named coffee her “Bae-ff No. 1”. The actress shows fans that her finest company is a cup with a wink and sip. She had more unique moments on Friendship Day. Suhana Khan, her childhood sweetheart, joined the actress in celebrating.
Call Me Bae is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment and executive produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra. The series is directed by Collin D’Cunha and written by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair. Ananya Panday leads this eight-part series, which also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur.
An heiress turned hustler, Bae, is the web-show’s interesting protagonist. Prime Video will stream the series in 240 countries and territories starting September 6. Ananya Panday also has a Vikramaditya Motwane-directed cyber-crime thriller and an Akshay Kumar picture in the works.
