Hugh Jackman and ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness visited India in 2011. FICCI Frames honored him for his movie contributions. He took a Lord Ganesha idol from Yash Chopra and Aishwarya Rai with open arms.
Hugh expressed gratitude to Aish after receiving the present. The most gorgeous actress in the world was supposed to introduce me, and I believed it was my wife. I say that because I’m smart and my wife is in the front row.
But Aish, many thanks. You are a lovely actress. A wonderful actress, but not the most attractive (pointing to his wife). But thanks to FICCI for hosting us. We dream of being in Mumbai, India. We wanted to come.”

Hugh was savvy to flatter Aishwarya while loving Deborra, fans said. “When you praise Ash, you win her heart and fans. Hugh enjoyed dancing with Shah Rukh Khan and Vidya Balan during the awards presentation. He stated, “I idolize Shah Rukh Khan and loved My Name is Khan. The sequel will be called My Name is Jackman and I am not a tourist, he quipped, referencing the My Name Is Khan tag line, “And I am not a terrorist.”
Last September, Hugh and Deborra divorced after 28 years. His last film was Deadpool and Wolverine with Ryan Reynolds last week.
