Shreyas Talpade, who had an angioplasty after a heart attack last year, would shun action and drama roles until he recovers. On December 14, 2023, the ‘Om Shanti Om’ actress collapsed at home and was hospitalized in Mumbai for a week before being released.

After her heart attack, Shreyas Talpade delays action and high drama roles.

Talpade is warily expecting the premiere of his film Kartam Bhugtam. Due to my rehabilitation, I have some restrictions. My physicians say, ‘Another six months and you should be as good as new’. So I’ll wait. Talpade told PTI in an interview that some of his films may not include action or high-intensity drama sequences, which he could not execute instantly.

Shreyas Talpade previously linked his heart attack to the Covid-19 vaccine. He told Lehren Retro that despite taking care of himself, he still suffered heart attacks. He acknowledged the possibility of vaccine-related health issues. Shreyas avoids smoking and occasionally drinks.

I don’t smoke. Rarely drink more than once a month. Without tobacco, my cholesterol was elevated, but that’s usual these days. My medication had reasonably reduced it. What may be the cause if there was no diabetes, blood pressure, or anything else?

He remarked that despite taking careful care of his health, a health worry must have been caused by something else. Shreyas said, “I would not negate the theory. I first started feeling weary after the COVID-19 immunization. There must be truth, and we cannot deny the theory. This may be due to Covid or the vaccine, however there is a related post.Unfortunately, we don’t know what we’ve ingested. We believed the companies and went with it. I never heard of such situations before Covid-19.”

Kartam Bhugtam, directed by Soham P Shah, is Shreyas Talpade’s psychological thriller that opens May 17.

The actor also appeared in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency, playing former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Welcome to the Jungle, and Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun.
