Two individuals who are believed to have been engaged in the gunshot that took place outside of the apartment of star Salman Khan in Bandra have been detained, according to the Mumbai police. From Bhuj, which is located in Gujarat, the arrests were made on Tuesday.
Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta were named as the individuals who were taken into custody. It has been brought to the attention of the city. According to an official from the Mumbai Police Crime Branch who spoke with ANI, “Both of the accused who fled Mumbai after the firing have been arrested from Bhuj within the state of Gujarat.”
The men that were arrested are both natives of the state of Bihar. The males were taken into custody late on Monday night from the village of Mata No Madh, which is located in the Kutch area of Gujarat, according to Mahendra Bagadiya, the Deputy Inspector General of Kutch-West with the Gujarat Police. “Based on technical surveillance, joint teams of the Kutch-West and Mumbai police nabbed the duo,” according to the official.
According to Bagadiya, they were turned over to the Mumbai police because the complaint was brought to their attention there.
A preliminary investigation revealed that both Pal and Gupta were employed by the gang led by Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently serving time in prison, to carry out an attack on Khan’s residence. During the time that Pal was firing, Gupta was in communication with the members of the gang, according to Bagadiya.
Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, was at the scene of the shooting, which took place in the early hours of Sunday morning. The shooting was carried out by individuals riding motorcycles. According to the allegations made by the police, the suspects had their faces concealed, and the act was well prepared. An individual who is being accused shot a total of four rounds, and a live cartridge was found at the location where the incident occurred.
While this was going on, the official who was investigating the event stated on Monday that the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the Facebook post that claimed responsibility for the firing had been tracked back to Portugal.
The firing was referred to as the “first and last warning” by Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of the incarcerated criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, who had claimed responsibility for the firing.
The police believe that a virtual private network, sometimes known as a VPN, was utilized in order to upload the Facebook post. By establishing a digital link between a computer and a remote server that is owned by a VPN provider, a virtual private network (VPN) creates a point-to-point tunnel that encrypts personal data, masks IP addresses, and enables the user to circumvent website bans and firewalls on the Internet.
“The IP address of the Facebook post was found to be located in Portugal. The officer continued by saying, “We are verifying.”
The Mumbai Police have increased the level of security at the Galaxy Apartment as a result of the gunshot that occurred there. “The actor has Y+ category security cover, but after the firing, the number of police personnel guarding him has been increased,” a law enforcement official informed reporters.
Despite the fact that Salman Khan has not shown any reaction to the incident, his brother, Arbaaz Khan, who is also an actor, has published a statement in which he refutes prior allegations that Salim Khan had stated that the shooting was nothing more than a “publicity stunt.”
The recent event in which two individuals who have not been identified fired shots from a motorcycle at Galaxy flat, which is the residence of the Salim Khan family, is extremely unsettling and unsettling. The fact that this tragic event has transpired has left our family in a state of shock.
During this time, Salman Khan was also observed leaving the residence on Monday, accompanied by strong security. This was his first glimpse since the tragedy. It was captured on footage that went viral on the internet when Salman was seen driving away with police vans surrounding his vehicle. When Iulia Vantur was seen leaving Salman’s flat, she was also recognized.
