They had previously collaborated on the popular television series “The Kapil Sharma Show,” which was a comedic show. The altercation took place on a flight in March of 2017. When Kapil allegedly attacked Sunil, he was under the influence of alcohol, which ultimately resulted in Sunil leaving the program. The significance of their reunion can be attributed to this. According to a source who spoke with Bollywood Hungama, “In 2013, Baba Siddiqui’s Iftaar party was the place where history was made.” Over the course of nearly five years, Shah Rukh and Salman did not communicate with one another. On that fatal day, however, they came together and hugged, which resulted in unbridled joy throughout the industry as well as among the fans. At the Iftaar party that Kapil Sharma hosted in 2023, ten years later, history was repeated. It was there that Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover first met and formed a strong connection. After a period of six months, the announcement of their show on Netflix was distributed.
It is interesting to note that the Netflix footage also implies that they had a fight in the air.
