She disclosed that she had been originally planned to feature alongside Ranbir Kapoor in the film Bachna Ae Haseeno, which was released in 2008. It was revealed by Katrina in an interview with Midday that she was scheduled to play the part of Ranbir’s fourth girlfriend in the movie, but regrettably, her character did not make it into the final cut of the movie.

These projects included her wish to play the role of Anushka Sharma in the film Zero and her intention to play a double role in a film that was going to be called Katrina Meri Jaan.
