Rani and Deepika said
In 2018, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Rani Mukerji, Anushka Sharma, Tabu, and Taapsee Pannu participated in the Actress Roundtable. “I think as a woman, you have to be that powerful,” Rani Mukerji said about the Me Too campaign. If it happens, you have the guts to say “back off.” Everything depends on your life goals. If that happens, they should make the man suffer immediately. Give him a lifetime jhapad or kick him between his legs. Remembering it will make him afraid of not doing it again.”
Deepika replied, “I don’t think everyone is built with that sort of DNA, unfortunately.” After Rani advised girls practice martial arts and take responsibility, Deepika replied, “We’re talking about self-defense. Why should I even need to study self-defense? All of these things are fantastic, but prevent the problem from happening.”
Feedback from users
Many users criticized Rani’s statements and complimented Deepika’s reasonable answer. A user commented, “Rani yaps on nonsense despite making no sense…” The ladies are extremely patient because I would have left if it were me.” Another user stated, “Rani is totally impractical here. She didn’t understand mental trauma and how a small girl would take responsibility for herself. What if a group, stronger person, or anyone with a weapon forced her?
“The dumbest women’s safety plan ever. Another praised Deepika and Anushka for disagreeing. Comments read, “Rani…. These boys aren’t made by mothers. Again, you blame another lady. Are you confident teaching ladies martial arts will protect them from ferocious beasts?
