The project is taking inspiration from the informative novels written by Ramachandra Guha, a historian. ‘Gandhi before India’ and ‘Gandhi: The Years that Changed the World’ are two books that record the formative years of Mahatma Gandhi, and this series goes into those years. The initial schedule for the series has been taking place in Maharashtra since the third week of January, according to the information that we have just learned indicating that production of the series has already begun.
The online series Gandhi, created by Hansal Mehta and starring Pratik Gandhi and Addinath Kothare, is scheduled to be released the following year.
The first leg of filming, which will contain important scenes from Gandhi’s early childhood, has been set up in the gorgeous surroundings of Bhor, which is located in the state of Maharashtra. This is the third time that Hansal Mehta and actor Pratik Gandhi have worked together. Pratik Gandhi plays the part of Mahatma Gandhi in Gandhi, which follows the highly praised success of ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’ and ‘Baai.’ One of the most well-known actors in the world, Addinath Kothare, who portrays the role of liberation warrior Gopal Krishna Gokhale in the series, is also a member of the ensemble cast alongside him.
