Bad Newz, starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, is keenly anticipated. According to Sacnilk.com, the comedy has garnered over ₹1 crore in advance bookings for its opening day. The censorship of Bad News: CBFC alters Vicky Kaushal-Triptii Dimri’s 27-second kiss.

In advance bookings

The film grossed ₹1.41 crore in Hindi, with 50768 tickets sold for 6472 screenings, according to the portal. Based on advance bookings and numbers, the study expects the picture to do well at the box office. The movie opens July 19.

The movie’s romantic song Jaanam’s intimacy split viewers on social media. Vicky and Triptii’s relationship made some fans uncomfortable, but others loved it. The CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) reviewing committee banned three personal sequences from the film, Bollywood Hungama claimed.

The list says the picture has no audio edits. Three kissing sequences were censored by the CBFC Examining Committee. First scene is 9 seconds, second 10 seconds, and third 8 seconds. These three scenes had 27 seconds of CBFC edits. Strangely, the edit list says the ‘visual of lip-lock be modified’ however no frames have been cut. Film viewers will see the altered kissing scenes.

About BadNewz

In Bad Newz, directed by Anand Tiwari, a dramedy about heteropaternal superfecundation is explored through humor and turmoil. The freshly released trailer has Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk as protagonists facing unexpected parenting issues with Triptii Dimri creating hilarious mayhem.

Featuring Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh, the film appears to be a spiritual sequel to the 2019 hit Good Newwz. Anand Tiwari, Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Amritpal Singh Bindra co-produced Bad Newz.

Ishita Moitra and Tarun Dudeja wrote the film, which opens July 19.
